Note: We strongly recommend that you email your file(s) of clients to import over to support@tryelevate.com. That way we can review and ensure the import is successful.
Importing Contacts into your Elevate CRM platform first requires you to log-in to your account. Once logged in, look to the left side of your screen in the navigation panel on your dashboard for an option 'CSV Import' as seen below and click this option:
Clicking the button above will bring you directly to a page called 'Import Clients' where you have the choice to import a file from your computer (specifically a .CSV file).
As seen above, click 'Choose a File', locate the file within your computer, and lastly click 'Upload File' to upload this '.CSV' file. See the steps below to help match up the correct columns in your import.
You will be taken to a screen with some fields for you to match up when importing.
For example, you would match the first name field with 'First Name' in the drop-down menu.
Once you've matched up the correct fields (i.e. First Name, Last Name, Phone Number(s), E-mail Address, Notes) scroll down, and select 'Load Clients'. Please allow at least 30 minutes for all of your clients' information to upload entirely.

*Note: if a column header is not displayed as an option in your crm it is unlikely available to be uploaded
Below is an example of some of the different column headers that can be matched to fields in your Elevate CRM:
Contact/Lead info:
Full Name
First Name (Cannot be left empty; add "None" if necessary)
Last Name (Cannot be left empty; add "None" if necessary)
Street Address 1
Street Address 2
City
State
Zip Code
Type
Source (** IMPORTANT ** If there is a Source entered, they will be entered as a Lead. If blank, they will be entered as a Contact.)
Tags (If there are multiple tags, separate by a comma)
Notes
Email address
Cell Phone Number
Home Phone Number
Office Phone Number
Importing Contacts from Address Books:
If you were interested in importing contacts from your e-mail address books such as Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, iCloud, etc. you would click the 'Import Contacts' button:
Click on the address book that you'd like to upload and you will be prompted to log-in to your account (unless you're already logged in on your browser). Note: Be sure to disable your pop-up blocker for this step, otherwise you won't see any action from your click.
Once you log in to your account then you click 'Click Here to Authenticate' to finalize your import from your address book(s).
